Suggested Do's & Don'ts for Doggies Health

Do's...

  1. Exercise regularly
  2. Tap human on shoulder in the morning if still in bed when it's time for your breakfast snack
  3. Take any belly rubs on offer
  4. Take any back scratching on offer
  5. Get a Doggie wash at least once a Fortnight
  6. Share any excess liquid on your body with human associates
  7. Socialize at Dog Parks
  8. Have raw bones regularly for healthy teeth & gums, and just the fun of having a good chew. Get your human to try local butchers they are often cheaper than the supermaket.
  9. Drink heaps of water on the really hot summer dayz. Get your human to put some ice in it to keep it cool. We don;t like warm water much.
  10. Lend a hand where ever possible or a Paw
  11. Skip rope if you can
  12. Be very careful to check your furry one for ticks as they are very bad this year. Check every day and any sign of weakness and unsteady gait Check for ticks and see your friendly vet immedicately.

Don'ts...

  1. Eat cooked bones because they splinter and stick in your throat
  2. Eat onions because they cause anemia in furpersons
  3. Run around the neighbourhood
  4. Be scared of thunder
  5. Eat between meals
  6. Lick cane toads. Get your human to spray them with metho. They go away fast and die, Yeh!
  7. Eat sultanas or any dried fruit. It causes liver damage in furpeople. (Chocolate too, so definitely no chocolate sultanas this Xmas season)
  8. Don't let your furlessperson smack you because we don't understand what smacks are for...!!
