Come on down to the Caboolture Off-Leash Dog Park. around 4pm most afternoons to socialize, let off steam, share training tips and (best of all) have a laugh at the antics of our canine charges.

Congrats to Jess & Matt - actually expecting a new baby of the human kind! What will the furkids make of that???

Another great day out at Sweeney's Reserve Saturday 31 Oct 2009 - newcomers Scooby (& Jo), Alfie (& Jane), Buster (& Emily) and Pocket (& Alison) had a rollicking good time with Dogzrool veterans Daisy, Teddy, Mia, Jess, Bob, Milly, Mischka, Jesse, Geb and Rosie. Tootse & TJ unexpectedly turned up as well. If there is a doggy heaven, this place is it! Running, swimming, socializing (whether other dogs like it or not) like there's no tomorrow.

Party hosted by Laurelle in April 2007. Laura's pride and joy, Shadow, the chihuahua, did the modelling honours (much to 'dad' Ben's embarrassment) while border collie, Jess, got in amongst the display. Terrier Teddy took a prime position as soon as one of the human guests made the mistake of leaving her seat. He was later seen sprawled out flat on his back on a lounge chair sound asleep. What a party animal!
Sheba loves her pink Gummi Towel. And don't you forget it.

Penny & Siryn are two gorgeous cocker spaniels who can't help endearing themselves to everybody.

While Casper is a serious ball-chaser, Sheba takes a more leisurely view of life.

Suzette and Sebastian add a bit of class to the dog park regulars. This elegant pair is much appreciated at the nursing homes they visit.

March 12, Bonnie will be eleven years old in 2008. And yes, Bonnie is the one with the fur...

December 24th, 2000, BOB the short haired Border Collie turned 7, Happy Birthday & Merry Xmas to Bob. He loves doin' the dishes after each meal, He's always good for a yarn, enjoys diggin' holes at the beach, and has an obsession with sticks and balls.

Daisy, the beautiful Yorkshire Terrier b'day is 27th May. She is 8 yrs young but people always comment on how young she looks. Its in the genes her mother Rose is 11 yrs and still a beauty too. Daisy is watching her figure these days and has started a regime of running on the beach and nooo french toast for b'fast.

Teddy is a handsome silky terrier x. He was a rescue dog and so exact birthday is not known. But we choose to celebrate it on the 5th April. Vet (Eric) says he is 6yrs old. Apart from a good bark Teddy loves going to the dogpark and seeing all his furry friends. He makes sure that fights don't get out of hand and acts as an unofficial canine referee. He is very protective of his friends when new dogs come to the park. He strictly supervises their entry and screens them and introduces them to the others. He also goes to the beach with Daisy but does not like the water as much as she does, but enjoys watching her running madly thru the water at low tide.

Lucy will be 10 years old on 26th of January 2007 which happens to be Australia Day, happy birthday Lucy.

Doggie Friendly Cafe'

What a concept!!...When you're out and about along Captain Cook Parade, Deception Bay drop into the MUD cafe and try your taste buds on what is listed in their exotic menu. This quaint cafe on the beach is a dog friendly alfresco dinning meeting place where you can bring along your FRIENDLY pooch, (did I say only friendly dogs?) have your meal and/or beverage then take your furperson for a run on the Off Leash beach.

Do's & Don'ts

Suggested Do's & Don'ts for Doggies Health

Do's...

Exercise regularly
Tap human on shoulder in the morning if still in bed when it's time for your breakfast snack
Take any belly rubs on offer
Take any back scratching on offer
Get a Doggie wash at least once a Fortnight
Share any excess liquid on your body with human associates
Socialize at Dog Parks
Have raw bones regularly for healthy teeth & gums, and just the fun of having a good chew. Get your human to try local butchers they are often cheaper than the supermaket.
Drink heaps of water on the really hot summer dayz. Get your human to put some ice in it to keep it cool. We don;t like warm water much.
Lend a hand where ever possible or a Paw
Skip rope if you can
Be very careful to check your furry one for ticks as they are very bad this year. Check every day and any sign of weakness and unsteady gait Check for ticks and see your friendly vet immedicately.
